It isn’t fair.

Standardized tests are not the best way to assess knowledge. If we are being tested on something we learned like two years ago, that's not fair, and it comes down to whether you have studied, not the knowledge you have obtained over the years. I think taking the SAT, for example, is nothing like anything we learn in school, so it is a completely different thing and not fair to assess students over.
