Support learning, not ending creativity

AI can be really helpful, but it also creates risks for critical thinking and creativity if people start relying on it too much. When AI gives quick answers, summaries, or even full essays, students might stop doing the hard mental work of analyzing ideas for themselves. Critical thinking develops when people question information, compare perspectives, and come to their own conclusions, but AI can make it easy to skip that process. Creativity can also suffer because original thinking usually comes from struggle, brainstorming, and experimenting with different ideas. If people just accept whatever AI generates, their work can start to sound repetitive or less personal. Over time, this could make students less confident in their own thoughts and more dependent on technology to think for them. AI should be used as a tool to support learning, not as something that replaces the human process of thinking, creating, and solving problems independently.
